The greater SSD storage internally is worth more than the upgrade from 16 GB's to 32 GB's in terms of editing experience - your experience with PC memory is nothing like that for the unified memory of the new Macs. I highly recommend you get at least a 1 TB internal SSD - the upgrade cost is not really more than what you would have to pay for relevant (fast, but inferior) external storage. And, fast external SSD drives that make use of the Thunderbolt ports are very expensive. The Mac's internal storage SSD is the fastest SSD you will be able to use (it is very, very fast) - no external drive can beat it. Are you editing from the internal storage or from and external storage? Are you using multiple monitors, and if so, are you still using the Macbook as a third monitor? Will 512GB SSD be enough internal storage? Or do I need 1TB of storage? Is 16GB of memory enough. Some Fusion FX and many Color Grading I have a few questions, and I would appreciate any suggestions.
